  Colaborador Este colaborador deixou o CAUP Instituto Email Notas biográficas Graca Rocha is a Planck Scientist and core team member of both Planck LFI and HFI instruments and a member of the Data Processing Centers for the Planck satellite. She is the coordinator of the 'Compact Source Investigation' (CSI) team in Planck. This team main task is to compare and validate algorithms to detect point sources. CSI played an important role in the build up of the ERCSC pipeline and therefore in the production of the ERCSC catalog released on the 11st of January 2011. It will continue its studies for the production of the Legacy catalog. She is the co-coordinator of a central core area, 'Power Spectrum and Likelihoods', concerned with the estimation of the angular power spectrum of the CMB radiation and generating the means to estimate the cosmological parameters and ultimately describe our cosmos.
