FCT has open the call for applications for PhD and Postdoc individual Grants for 2007
(first deadline 20 June, second deadline 17 September).
CAUP will support applications that are broadly relevant for the following research topics:
- Stellar and Planet Formation
- Stellar Structure and Evolution
- Physical Properties of Galaxies
- Evolution of the Universe
Applications for specific projects will also be considered:
- VISTA Hemisphere Survey

The calendar, for the June deadline, is the following:
- 4 June: submission of a CV, together with a title and abstract of a possible project
- 7 June: pre-selected candidates will be contacted in order to proceed with the detailed preparation of the application
- 18 June: the full application is reviewed and approved for submission to FCT
- 20 June: submission to FCT

The calendar, for the September deadline, is the following:
- 4 September: submission of a CV, together with a title and abstract of the proposed project
- 5 September: pre-selected candidates will be contacted in order to proceed with the detailed preparation of the application
- 14 September: the full application is reviewed and approved for submission to FCT
- 17 September: submission to FCT
