Notas biográficas
Jorge M. C. Grave licenciou-se em Física/Matemática Aplicada - ramo de Astronomia em 2004 na Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto. Obteve o doutoramento em 2009 no âmbito do Programa Doutoral de Astronomia, também na Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto.

Actualmente, é investigador no Centro de Astrofísica da Universidade do Porto.

Os seus interesses de investigação centram-se na formação estelar, particularmente no estudo dos estágios iniciais na evolução de estrelas massivas, desde os fenómenos de acreção e ejecção de matéria até à interacção entre as proto-estrelas e as nuvens moleculares gigantes onde se formam.
