In order to effectively explore the data from CoRoT it is necessary to ensure that the best and most adequate numerical models are available. Only with the state of the art stellar models and their oscillation frequencies will be possible to correctly use the observed data.
Consequently it is necessary to optimise the available tools used in Asteroseismology. Both in its numerical aspects, as well as in the fundamental physical ingredients that are currently used. In order to secure that the community has the necessary theoretical know-how to explore the data the tools available will be extensively compared, and improved or adapted where necessary.
