Abstract
This talk will be aimed at estimating the amount of mass lost by stars as they evolve from the Red Giant Branch to the Red Giant Clump in the Kepler open cluster NGC 6819. The mass - loss estimation was done using the global oscillation parameters from Asteroseismology and scaling relations. Some of the disagreements that arise form the different approaches used in the analysis of the power spectrum when obtaining the global oscillation parameter i.e., the maximum pulsation frequency will also be discussed.
