Neste contexto sou o PI português de um novo projecto para um espectrografo ultra-estável de alta resolução para o VLT. Outros interesses incluem o estudo de formação estelar de pequena massa (no infravermelho próximo), multiplicidade estelar em estrelas jovens, e as propriedades químicas de regiões de formação estelar.
