Applications from researchers able to complement the expertise of the existing scientific teams and capable of adding value to the participation in major international projects are given preference. In particular, postdoc research programs that potentiate the Portuguese participation in ESO and ESA will be considered favorably.

In the topic of Dark Energy, relevant expertise for the preparation of the EUCLID (ESA) mission is of particular relevance.
