A grazing ESP encounter during Inflation I investigate consequences of a grazing encounter with an Extra Species Point during the last sixty e-folds of inflation in a two dimensional field space. Back-reaction causes a bending of the trajectory and a temporary decrease in speed, both of which are sensitive to initial conditions. As a consequence, dominant contributions to the power-spectrum can arise if the encounter is close, with observably large non-Gaussianities. |
