How to get to CAUP and the Hotel from the airport

To travel between Porto airport and the town, you are advised to
use the Metro. The metro station nearest to CAUP and the Hotel is
Casa da Musica, which is on the same line as the airport. The journey
time is 25 minutes, and there is a train every 20 minutes, from 6am
to 1am.

You are advised not to take a taxi, which is far more expensive and
depending on the time of the day may in fact be slower than the metro.
Taxi receipts will not be eligible for refund.

Note that the Metro works on an open system (no barriers that will open
only upon presentation of a ticket) but controls are frequent. You need
to be in possession of a validated ticket, otherwise you may be fined.

All the participants are staying at Residencial Vice-Rei, which is a 2 min
walk from the Casa da Musica station and a 5 min walk from CAUP. A map of
