Effects of Microscopic Diffusion on Stellar Evolution

Abstract. I will present a review of the effects of microscopic diffusion on stellar evolution, with emphasis on the effects on metal-poor stars, and in particular globular cluster stars. This will include a discussion of the constraints placed on diffusion from spectroscopic observations in globular cluster subgiant stars.
