Comparison between FRANEC+ADIPLS and CESAM+ADIPLS

Abstract. We present some preliminary comparisons between the frequencies obtained from CESAM+ADIPLS and from FRANEC+ADIPLS for cases 1.1 and 1.4 of TASK 1. The obtained discrepancies are probably related to differences in the profile of some of the five a_i quantities used by the pulsation code to calculate the radial and nonradial frequencies. These differences could in turn be related to residual differences in the evolutionary code physical and/or numerical assumptions. Specific tests to reduce the discrepancy are in progress.
