Impact of uncertainties in current stellar physics description upon oscillation frequencies

Abstract. Important physical processes entering our current stellar models still suffer from uncertainties. Some other important physical mechanisms are still in the process of being implemented and the effects on the oscillation frequencies to be evaluated. I will review the work (although certainly not exhautive) which has been done in order to assess the influence of these uncertainties upon oscillation frequencies and what influence is expected from the missing physical processes. These influences are quantified through the use of several seismic diagnostics and I will present some representative illustrations.
