Abstract
In this cookie seminar, I will present the results of an optical spectroscopic survey of a sample of young stellar objects and pre-main sequence stars in the Lupus Clouds. 92 objects were observed with VLT/FLAMES. Spectral classes, effective temperatures and luminosities are derived for 54 objects. These were used to construct H-R diagrams for the population and to derive masses and ages for the objects. From the H alpha line in emission, mass accretion rates were derived for almost half the sample.
