Abstract
In this short (20 min) and informal cookie seminar, I will review the main topics of the meeting held this Monday at FCT and dedicated to the subject of Open Access in Science. I will present the information gathered about the (fast) evolution of Open Access on two paradigmatic examples: UK and Germany, and how the situation in Portugal compares with it. I will conclude with the official position of FCT on the subject.

Note: I am not an expert on the subject and was present merely as CAUP's watcher.
