The ASTEC implementation of diffusion and settling

Abstract. In ASTEC the evolution of the chemical abundances, including diffusion and settling, is integrated in the overall solution of the equations of stellar structure with a Henyey technique. The simplified expressions for the coefficients of Michaud & Proffitt are used. Here I provide a brief overview of the numerical scheme and some results.
